Background
Elizabeth Novel Cefalu was born and raised in California. She moved to San Diego to pursue her education and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Communications from San Diego State University. She completed her Juris Doctorate at California Western School of Law, where she consistently excelled academically and has been named to the Dean’s Honor Roll for the majority of her law school career.
She graduate early with honors and demonstrated a strong commitment to legal research, writing, and advocacy.
Novel joined Blumenthal Nordrehaug Bhowmik De Blouw LLP in 2025 as a law clerk, and passed the bar in 2026.
